When the sponge softens, they should gently press the sponge between the tongue and teeth to ensure complete saturation, so no hard spots are felt within three minutes before removing the sponge. Afterwards, the user should hand the saturated collector over to the tester. Afterwards, align the red arrow on the device with either one of the white marks on the cap. Insert the collector vertically into the cap and press down firmly until the cap reaches the thread. Twist the handle clockwise 180 degrees to tighten the cap until the red arrow lines up with the other white mark. Place the test horizontally on a clean and level surface, with a result window facing up. Finally, you can read the results after 10 minutes, but not after 1 hour. If you'll notice, the first set of results show a positive for cocaine, methamphetamines, phencyclidine, and opiates. The second set of results show a negative for drug use. Finally, the third window displays an invalid result because there is no line in the control region. If the results are positive, then you should secure the cap with the security seal and send it to a laboratory for confirmation.
